K. R. Barker and Associates (KRBA), formerly known as CDI Communications Consultants, was founded in 1979. We are a professional company dedicated to the belief that the evolution of worldwide communication and information systems, and their importance to the aviation industry, requires a specialized group of experts dedicated to staying abreast of these changes. The principals of the firm have over 75 years combined experience in telecommunications and information technology industries and are recognized as experts in their respective fields.
Kindrick R. Barker, President of KRBA, has led the firm in becoming the leading communications consulting firm in the aviation industry. For over 60 airport clients across the nation, KRBA has provided a wide variety of consulting services. Our quality evaluation approach has been a major factor in the successful completion of our many airport consulting assignments. KRBAs team for several major airport expansion projects has included experts in rates and tariffs, outside plant engineering, architectural services, local/wide area networks, PABX equipment, airline management systems, building control systems, trunked radio/wireless systems, cost/financial analysis and information technology. Whether working on a project with a budget of $1 million or $10,000, we are able to select and utilize the personnel who are most qualified to meet the unique requirements of any project.
As an independent consulting firm, KRBA only accepts consulting assignments from airports, airlines and municipal governments. KRBA prides itself on continually providing clients with recommendations and solutions that are based solely upon their individual needs and without outside influence. The firm does not have any interest or relationship with any product or vendor.
